Birdville High School UIL One Act Play | Mar 21, 2026

This show was our yearly UIL One Act Play that we take to competition. This year our show placed 4th in our first round, and I was awarded the 'Outstanding Technician' award.

For this show, per the UIL rules, we are allowed to use the host's 15 area lights, a wash, and a cyc, but no effects. We are also allowed to bring 6 'specials' that have to be independant from the host's lighting system. This provides the unique challenge of having to sync two independant systems with two different operators.

*With this being our contest show, we travel to different host schools using varying base plots.
